Our Goals

The Buckley Log Show is a non-profit organization, the committee is all volunteer, and our foremost goal is to put on a safe, competitive and entertaining log show each year. The proceeds from this yearly event go back to the community to help those in need. We use the funds raised to give to families when tragedies strike, such as injuries, illness or other unforeseen life challenges. We also use some of the money raised each year for scholarships for local high school graduates, donations to DARE and monthly donations to area food banks.

Another of our goals is putting on the Junior Buckley Log Show each year without any cost to our young contestants. The junior show is for anyone between the ages of 3-17. The top contestants receive trophies, and all contestants can participate in the nickel scramble and they receive a free ice cream bar just for participating. We provide a safe and fun day for any child who wishes to be there.
One other goal is for our show to continue to growing and for us to continue making improvements to our grounds each year. We have seen a lot of changes since the beginning and have a lot of plans for the future.
